Do you know what hail clouds mean?

Wordless Wednesday

PACK UP THE TENT!

Scroll down for yesterday's Pass the Torch Tuesday participant posts. They're excellent! And I'm posting from outside the state (and country) this week, so I'll be slow on commenting, but I promise to get to you eventually!

  • I'm first! But I really don't know if this linky is for WW or Pass the Torch. It is quite confusing though.
Anyway, that's a great photo. Thanks for dropping by.

  • Yes, I know what the sky looks like before, during and after a hail storm. Impressive picture though.

  • What a gorgeous sky! I would be so into the sky that I wouldn't realize I was about to be in trouble! LOL Mine's up!

  • Another great photo.

Isn't it something how fun it is to aim your camera up at the sky!

  • Does it mean that it's going to hail? I've never seen hail in Hawaii unless you count the time ice was flying out of our A/C.

  • Wow! Gorgeous sky! We have had plenty of hail storms - but honestly - our sky has always been quite drab during them -- and I don't think I ever took notice BEFORE the hail came!

  • Hello All! Great comments everybody!

A few answers to your questions:

I was in Canada at the time of posting. But the photo was taken on the south shore of Lake Superior.

We stayed in the tent half the night, then retreated to the truck the rest of the night. It was AWFUL! We packed up the next day and heard later that a tornado rumbled thorugh the area that day!! EEEEK!

And yes, I took the pic (everything on this site is mine, with a few guest photos from Deena;))
